"Thomas came to the Land in the 5t month of the yeare 1640" bringing with him two small sons, Thomas and Jeremiah and undoubtedlly his wife Susanna, though no passenger list has shown their names. He was a brazier or peuterer and there are land records also cited in Dawes-Gates. He was a member of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Boston whose records say that he became a freeman in 1640.
