Occupation*between 1861 and 1862He was an itinerant Methodist minister in Maine. In Allen and Pillsbury's Methodism In Maine, there is a listing of many pastors who served in Main in the 1800s. On page 241 of the section dealing with East Maine, it is reported that in 1861, he served in South Thomaston and then discontinued in 1862. "This would indicate to me (Rev Patricia J Thompson, Necrologist for Maine Annual Conference) that he served the Methodist Church in a formal capacity, anyway, for only that year. He may have preached on a supply basis after that but we have no records on supply pastors." between 1861 and 1862 at South Thomaston, Knox Co., Maine.
