| CAUTION* | There is the following CAUTIONARY INFORMATION for Ezra Wilson Miller: NOT this Ezra, but wanted to make note. There is an Ezra Miller buried in Bedford Union Cemetery, no particulars, so it is unknown what Ezra this is. There is another Ezra Miller who is older - age 26-45 in 1810 (Bedford) and 26-45 in 1820 (south Salem). The Bedford Historian's office said (regarding the one buried in cemetery): There are a number of possibilities; he may be the fifth son of Josiah and Paulina Titus Miller, born in 1790. Or he may be the third son of Jesse and Kezia Miller, born in 1776 who married Sally Light. Another possibility is that he is the second son of Jesse and and Celstia Miller, born in 1835, who died in the Civil War. This last possibility is strengthened by the fact that both Jesse and Celestia are buried in the same plot as Ezra (BU 169). Other possible family members buried in BU 169 include John Miller (Ezra had a brother named John who also fought in the Civil War), Ruth Augustua Miller (Ezra had a sister with this name) and her husband, Alfred P Miller. | |
