ThomasStone was born circa 1720 at Virginia probably Stafford, King George or Richmond counties - those three were shifted around in 1721 so no way of knowing which county.1
Thomas Stone married MaryButler Thomas Stone, born 1721; married Mary Butler. "On 20 December 1747, Thomas Stone, Jr., Planter of Prince William County, Colony of Virginia, leased from John Dagg, shipwright, of the same county and colony, for the consideration of rents one lot of land containing 125 acres granted to Joseph Chambers adjoining the line of William Stone during the natural lives of the said Thomas Stone and Mary his wife, paying the said John Dagg 450 pounds of tobacco and 5 shillings annually..." Thomas Stone died circa 1788 at Fauquier Co., Virginia, received a pension for the poor in 1787. His son Thomas sold land in 1788 and in that document no longer used the Jr desigination, implying that his father had died.1
