Jonathan Kimball resided Hampstead, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire: "Traditionsays the 'Jonathan was the first person to migrate to that part of the town of Haverhill which is now Hampstaead; that he went up into the woods and had twenty men to help him build his log cbi, and that two stood guard against the Indians while the rest worked.' He afterwares returned to Plaistow to the old homestead, where he lived and died."1
