CAUTION*There is the following CAUTIONARY INFORMATION for Hannah Saunders: The Lee typscript says she is said to have been the dau of William and Esther (Kingsley) Saunders of Philadelphia (see American Ancestry v.8 p.197), but may have been the dau of Robert and Mary (Williams) Saunders who were m. (2d declaration of intentions) Buckingham Mo. Mtg. 3d mo 2 1721.
However, several sources (after starting with the IGI & Ancestral File), led to the conclusion that the Hannah Saunders who is the daughter of Robert & Mary (Williams) Saunders was from Gosport, Rock, NH and stayed there & married 21 Sep 1746 to John Brag. That leaves William & Esther (Kinglsey) Saunders as her parents. The American Ancestry mentioned above is not Munsells. I don't know what it refers to. (try again 973 D2a 1968 v. 8)

     Background:
Film 0013169 #9 Rees(e)-Lee and allied families.
Pg 160 has a reference that says (see American Ancestry...) and gives vol/page. The American Ancestry we usually think of does not have anything in that v/p to be the source. In re-looking at some pages of this typescript that I copied, I've come to realize that anytime the author put "see" and underlined the see, then the sources were in the back. I thought I'd copied the sources but now realize that the sources I copied were for a Smith section of the book. The Smith section starts on page 240, so I suspect that the Lee sources are on page 239, or at least somewhere between 176 (last page I copied for Lee section) and pg 241. So, what I need is that source page, and for you to also see if the American Ancestry source cited has Lee, Saunders, or Kingsley in v.7 p.197, and send that source as well. If not, I still want the Lee typescript page with the source.
Researcher reply -
I rechecked that film roll. There is no TOC, and there are 32 individual appendices. As you mentioned there are specific sources for SMITH. Appendix 6 seems to have been an exception though. Perhaps that's why you copied only that one. Each of the other appendices were actually individual documents such as letters, bible extracts, and such. In short, I could find no listing of sources for the Saunders, Lee, or Kingsley surnames.
