Birth*circa 1590 George Bowers (Immigrant) was born circa 1590 at Manley, Lincoln, Yorkshire, England, he was called "of Manley" when he married per Bowers History. Note also: George Bowers parents have never been found. Evidently there was at one time speculation that his father might have been named Thomas but this has not been proved. Definitely George's mother was not named Iwerner Minster. Iwern Minster is a village in Dorset not a person. This was brought to the attention of this compiler by Doug Schneider, a 9th great grandson of George Bowers.1
