Burial*She was buried at Pentaucket Cemetery, Haverhill, Essex Co., Massachusetts, Next to the stone of Captain Samuel Ayer is this stone inscribed: Here lys ye body of Elizabeth wife of" and the stone is broken off here. Since Captain Samuel Ayer's mother is Elizabeth (Palmer) Ayer, she died 3 years before her son and the styling is identical, it certainly seems probable that he was buried next to her and that this is her stone.
