| Story* | [Adam Note] The T.A.G. article cited above give an extensive amount of information on the first three generations of the Adam Brouwer Berchoven family. Mr Hoffman states that "the original settler had no less than seven sons who continued the family name, with the result that the third generation was already quite numerous". He further says that much of what has been published before proved to be, in several instances, extremely unreliable, including Bergen in his Kings Co. Settlers.
