In 1718, he moved to Stratham NH, where he was constable in 1737, selectman in 1735-36-38-42-43-44-45, and one of the original proprieters of the township of Bow under royal patent. In 1742 he helped establish a new church. At death, he owned lands in Stratham, Epping, Bow, Exeter, and a fulling mill in Little River. His mother, on 29 Apr 1712, deeded to him all her real estate in consideration of life support.
