Amey Bumstead was guardianship on 19 September 1755; Letter (8 Jul 1986) from NEHGS gives her guardianship information - On 19 Sep 1755, Joseph Bumstead, taylor of Newbury, was chosen guardian by "Amy Bumstead, a Minor, aged about Nineteen years" Suffolk Probate (50, 536-7), by thomas Bumstead... aged upwards of Fourteen years" (50, 538) and appointed as guardian of his brother Jeremiah Bumstead and sister Eliza. Bumstead both under the age of 14 (50, 539 & 540).
