Event-Misc*between 3 December 1695 and 1 February 1696He had the following event: in his diary he gives an account of the first voyage of the Dorchester colony to South Carolina, where they left 3 Dec 1695 to carry the gospel ordinances to SC. They went into a long boat to go on board the Brignatine Friendship of Boston. They had problems then finally sailed on the 5th. There is a lengthy description of the trip, and they left to return on 1 Feb 1696 between 3 December 1695 and 1 February 1696.4 
Religion*16 December 1697 On 16 December 1697 William Pratt (Elder) was in his diary he says "In the year 1697, the 16th day of December I was ordained Ruling elder of the Church of Christ. Swearing in a religious manner is a duty when called unto it."
