This Agnes Wylleye, evidently a widow, is probably she who in 1545 paid a subsidy tax of 12 pense in Thorley. In th same year, 1545, a John willeye of Thorley paid a subsidy tax of 10 pence (herts. Gen. Vol 2, p. 276)."1
