He was the son of Dennis Hart and (__________) (__________). 
(Witness) Deed3 May 1740 On 3 May 1740 at Huntington, Suffolk Co., New York: Brothers Dennis and Cornelius Hart were among the town trustees involved in the division of the Sumpwam's Neck portion of Huntington. There was a Nehemiah Heartt (Hart) as one of the witnesses. This is probably the son of Dennis even though he was barely 21, as I'm not sure there were any other Nehemiah's of the right age in the area. The "instrument of writing" is transcribed in source. There are also other deeds and court records these men were involved in, in the town records.2 
Marriage*24 January 1744Nehemiah Hart (RevWar Patriot) married Mercy Lewis, daughter of Daniel Lewis and Mary (__________), on 24 January 1744 at First Church, Huntington, Suffolk Co., New York.3 
Death*20 November 1796Nehemiah Hart (RevWar Patriot) died on 20 November 1796 at Huntington, Suffolk Co., New York, at age 77.1
