| Death* | 1 August 1832 | Ann Lancelot Or George died on 1 August 1832 at Wales Typescripts of letters in possession (May 1973) of Dorothy Beck Babcock to and from Williams and Cornelius relatives from 1832-1838. The cited letters have one letter from Lewis & Ann's son John dated 15 Oct 1832 that says: ...since you left Wales we have (buried?) Mother she was struck sick in her foot of (the?) old complaint she had formerly in her legs and the same rose up to her body at Last and she expired the first day of August and was buried at Langevlock [sic, referring to Llangefelach] alongside of my Dr father. [Dr being D with a superscript r and meaning "dear"]. |
