Then Oliver Babcock & Silvester Belcher, both of Westerly in Kings County were Lawfully Joined Together in Marriage by me Joseph Crandal, Justice Peace."

Religion*18 September 177618 September 1776 Oliver Babcock (RevWar Patriot) was ordained as the Pastor, succeeding his father. He ran the church during the difficult years of the Revolution and continued there until his death.5 
Will*23 January 1784He left a will 23 January 1784 Westerly, Washington Co., Rhode Island, Will book 6 page 509+ (handwritten #505) Westerly Town records. (Copy in Lineages Report #10). Names 5 sons (Arnold, Joshua, Jason, Stephen & Oliver) and "I give unto my well beloved wife Scilva Babcock" In acceptance of the administration she is called Silvester Babcock. 
Death*13 February 1784He died on 13 February 1784 at Westerly, Washington Co., Rhode Island, at age 45.
