    "Buried April the eighth one thousand eigth hundred & forty Nehemiah Snow Farmer of Compton in the presence of the subscribing witnesses by me (He died on the fifth Inst aged eighty one years) by C Jackson Minister of Charleston Hatley"

    note: Compton is in Cookshire/Coaticook (our equivalent of a county). Hatley is in Stanstead/Memphrémagog.
